“bleep-blop”. A text message just came in. You look down. It’s from a friend that always acts SO glad to see you when you get together.
“HEY! I miss your face! What are you doing tonight?”
I proceed to answer with what I forsee doing with my evening.
“Hmmm… okay. Let me get back to you in just 2 seconds…”
I really do not like “fun shoppers”. Look, if you want to hang out with ME, then it doesn’t really matter what I’m doing, does it? All that matters if I’m available. I’m not here to be the highest bidder for your attention.
